Johnson's Baby

A collection of films created for Johnson’s Baby over multiple years. From massage oils to wipes and bath routines, these projects reflect the unique creative challenge of working with real babies—where scripts adapt to moods, naps, and unpredictable little performers.

  • Scripts + Creative Direction

Over several years, I worked on multiple films for Johnson’s Baby across products including massage oils, powders, wipes, and bath routines. This selection represents a small part of a much larger body of work created for the brand.

Working with babies is unlike any other production experience. Their tantrums are demands no celebrity can match, and scripts often need to adapt in real time. Shoots involve days of preparation, rehearsals, multiple backups, and a fair amount of patience—along with the familiar ritual of baby falling asleep just after the camera is finally set.

I was involved in scripting and creative direction across these films, shaping stories around real moments rather than rigid performances. Challenging as it is, this kind of work is also deeply rewarding—finding authentic, tender moments in the middle of beautifully unpredictable days on set.
